At Pearl Global Ministries, every season teaches us something about faith.
Uganda is experiencing an unusually intense dry spell. While many people look forward to sunshine, too much of it creates a different challenge for farmers. Without enough rainfall, young crops depend on careful watering by hand. Every container of water carried to the fields is an act of perseverance and hope.
The video below captures one of those everyday moments. It may seem simple, but it represents the determination of our team to protect the crops that will help feed children, provide income, and strengthen the ministry’s future.
“We thank the Lord. It’s shining too much here, so we have resorted to irrigation. Because our road is under construction, flu and colds are the order of the day!”
Even in the midst of these challenges, gratitude remains at the center of everything we do.
The road construction that will eventually improve transportation has created clouds of dust that affect the health of many in the community. Colds and flu have become common as vehicles stir up dust throughout the day. Yet our staff continues serving faithfully, caring for children, tending the land, and trusting God for strength.
At the same time, the ministry’s agricultural project continues moving forward. Every coffee plant, banana tree, and garden plot represents more than food—it represents sustainability. These crops will help provide nourishment for the children in our care while creating long-term income to support Pearl Global Ministries for years to come.
The work isn’t glamorous. It often means carrying water by hand under a hot African sun. But it is work filled with purpose.
Please Pray With Us
We invite you to pray for:
- Rain at the right time to nourish the crops.
- Protection from illness for our staff, children, and surrounding community.
- Safety during the ongoing road construction.
- Strength and endurance for those faithfully tending the fields.
- A plentiful harvest that will bless both the children and the ministry.
We are continually reminded that God is faithful in every season—whether through abundant rain or through the faithful hands that carry water when the rains delay.
Thank you for standing with Pearl Global Ministries through your prayers, encouragement, and support. Together, we are planting seeds of hope that will bear fruit for generations to come.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
