Pearl Vocational Training Institute

Empowered African women attending a community seminar, showcasing Pearl Global Ministries' mission to support education and empowerment for women and girls in underserved communities.
The Pearl Vocational Training Institute currently offers courses in cosmetology (including hairdressing, manicure, pedicure, and beauty therapies), tailoring, fashion and design, garment cutting, baking, cooking, catering and hotel management, decoration, language literacy, business management, home management and economics, and elderly care.

Pearl Vocational Training Institute began in 2022 after COVID, when many young girls became mothers at a very early age. The founder of Pearl was concerned and took action to help. Pearl has worked with 40 girls who are being trained to enter the field to serve.

Recently, the Pearl team embarked on a school visit, meeting with the youth to talk about appropriate social media use. We also emphasize them to have integrity known as ‘Obuntubulamu’ in Luganda.
